Inspired by Teresa Teng, Asia's Queen of Pop, we teamed up with Win Son to develop this seltzer homage to her legacy.
We concoted a mix of cranberry juice, cold-steeped cucumber slices, and a clove-forward spice mix to create a crisp, citrusy, and smoky seltzer that'll have you going back for another sip—just as you would for another song of Teresa Teng.
Find this at Win Son in NYC starting 5/15, or shop the Heritage Line: Sunset Edition below.
Dubbed as “Asia’s eternal queen of pop” or “Asia’s singing queen,” Teresa Teng was born in 1953 in Taiwan and passed away in 1995 after a 30-year career as the first international Asian musician superstar. In honor of her, Taiwanese-American owner of Win Son, Josh Ku, named one of their inaugural cocktails after the international superstar in hopes of amplifying her legacy to the local Brooklyn audience.
Named after chef Josh Ku's father's textile company, Win Son is a Taiwanese-American restaurant nestled in the heart of Brooklyn. From lu rou fan to danzi mian to their top of the line cocktail menu, James Beard semifinalists Josh and Trigg have continually built upon their abundant success with their new Win Son Bakery location that highlights Taiwanese pastries.
