Ginger Lime Lychee Martini
We've taken the summertime classic Lychee Martini cocktail recipe and added a beachside zing to it by featuring ginger and kaffir lime from Thailand. Enjoy the aromatic, refreshing kaffir lime scents as you sip this one on the lawn.
4.5oz Lunar Lychee Hard Seltzer
2 tbsp sugar
0.75 oz vodka
3 slices ginger (can substitute with 1/3 tsp ginger juice)
1/2 tsp lime juice
5 kaffir lime leaves (can substitute with kaffir lime extract)
Ginger Kaffir Lime Simple Syrup: Place kaffir leaves in a small saucepan with 1/4 cup water and sugar. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer for 1 minute, then add ginger slices. Simmer for 2 more minutes. Strain syrup into medium heatproof jug; discard solids. Cool and refrigerate until cold.
Assembly: In a chilled glass, pour Lunar Lychee Hard Seltzer. Gently mix in 1.5 tbsp of the ginger lime simple syrup. Top with ice and kaffir lime leaves or a candied ginger slice for garnish. Enjoy!
